Just a few kilometers from Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta, among the hills of the Novara area, we have been cultivating a small vineyard since 2015 in the Fara denomination, one of the oldest and smallest DOCs in Upper Piedmont. Here, we work exclusively with Nebbiolo and Vespolina, two grape varieties that elegantly express the strength and finesse of this corner of the region.

Fermentations occur spontaneously, using native yeasts, and aging takes place mainly in large Slavonian oak casks.

Thanks to meticulous work in the vineyard and cellar, we produce wines that are clean, refined, and deeply connected to the identity of the territory.

    VINIFICATION:

    Spontaneous fermentation with native, unselected yeasts at 25–28°C, maceration on the skins for at least 15 days, spontaneous malolactic fermentation during 15 months of aging in 3,000-liter Slavonian oak casks

    AGING:

    At least 12 months in bottle

    TASTING NOTES:

    Bright garnet red color; the nose is very refined, with notes of violet, vanilla, licorice, and balsamic hints. On the palate, it is harmonious, velvety, and smooth, with a slightly bitter finish.

    VINIFICATION:

    Spontaneous fermentation with native, unselected yeasts at 22–25°C, 12 days of maceration on the skins, spontaneous malolactic fermentation during 6 months of aging in wooden barrels of different origins

    AGING:

    At least 6 months in bottle

    TASTING NOTES:

    Ruby red color; the nose is very refined, with notes of violet and raspberry. On the palate, it is harmonious yet expressive and structured, with a mineral finish.

    GRAPES:

    100% Nebbiolo

    VINIFICATION:

    Gentle pressing of the grapes, fermentation with selected yeasts at 18–20°C for about 2 weeks

    AGING:

    At least 2 months in bottle

    TASTING NOTES:

    Delicate rosé color; the nose is very refined, intense, and complex, with notes of peach and wild rose. On the palate, it is harmonious and mineral.
